¹⁰For Your servant David’s sake
do not turn away the face of Your anointed.^[a]

¹¹Adonai has sworn to David
a true promise He will not revoke:
“From the fruit of your body
I will set one upon your throne—^[b]
¹²if your children keep My covenant
and My law that I will teach them,
then their sons will sit on your throne forever.”
